Last month I had the great pleasure of photographing two incredibly talented designers for C Magazine’s March fashion issue. Each has a  singular vision, and both share my home town, Los Angeles. Catherine Quin is a clothing designer who splits her time between Los Angeles, and London. Her line is all in black silk, refined, simple and elegant.

Kathleen Whitaker, is a jewelry designer whose earrings are super chic and minimal, can be seen on women looking for an understated elegance. Kathleen’s sensibility is graphic and sculptural. Both of these designers create timeless pieces that a woman can wear forever, and both support the local fashion industry, by producing their lines in Los Angeles. I love having the opportunity to create an intimate portraits, of people and the spaces they occupy. Especially people with a passion for their work, and a unique vision driving it.
